Karen Eagle to Serve on Flashes of Hope Board

Karen Eagle will serve on the board of directors for Flashes of Hope, a volunteer driven organization that raises funds for children’s cancer research.

“I am truly honored to be a Flashes of Hope board member,” she said. “I am eager to work with Flashes of Hope at this level and excited to be a part of an organization that does so much for children and their families undergoing cancer treatment.”

Flashes of Hope raises funds to accelerate a cure for children’s cancer while honoring the unique life and memories of every child fighting cancer. Founded in Cleveland in 2001 by parents of a child with cancer, Flashes of Hope has photographed more than 75,000 children across the country and raised millions of dollars for critically needed research.

Karen says that when many people hear the name Flashes of Hope, their first thought is the beautiful professional portrait work they do for children undergoing cancer treatment.

“They are also excellent fundraisers,” Karen says. “The Flashes of Hope board is a dynamic group of business leaders in Cleveland. They are successful in their respective job roles and really know how to make Flashes of Hope run well. They also have a great business model with good talent running the foundation.”

Flashes of Hope honors the courage of children with cancer; they capture a moment in time and fund research so they will have the chance to create a lifetime of memories. Click for or more information about Flashes of Hope.
